The continuation of part I, here. As I found out, the soft and gentle light lent itself quite well to black and white. This time around, I didn't fight the urge to add a bit more contrast to the blend, as for my taste, the black and white conversion required it. Except for the last three that is: I wanted to keep that patterning in the sky as soft as I'd seen it, and too much contrast wouldn't have suited these images anyway ... The second or the third of the last four images may even get printed big !
Funny how cultural references have their say when thinking of adding captures, especially when it turns out they all originate from film. What about "Grumpy Old Men" and "Rebel without a Cause" for the two above?
The last one of the two below, on the other hand, cannot go without any other caption than "Fangorn Forest". But hey, that's just me.
